At Jentjens, technology is in our blood. Our company began in the 1950s in shipbuilding, in the 1960s we moved on to structural steelwork, and then to mechanical engineering in the 1980s. In 2000 we became a top specialist in Oriented Handling: the automation of picking, placing and positioning the widest possible range of products and components.

In 2008 we were able to take our specialisation to an even higher level by introducing Smart Oriented Handling: intelligent handling of products that vary in shape and orientation. The result of this evolution has been a series of successful Jentjens products, including the harvesting robot for fresh cut roses and the Rombomatic cutting insertion system.

And of course we are proud of the latest result – the LoadMax sorting and packaging system, which we introduced in 2009.

From mechanical engineering to vision technology
In the solutions that we develop and realise for our clients, technology is integrated at all levels: not only robotics and 3-D vision technology, but also control and management software along with 'traditional' mechanical engineering and precision engineering.

Food and Agro 
The possibility for automating the handling of products with varying shapes in completely random positions makes our systems and installations especially interesting for the industries that work with natural products: Food and Agro. Meat, fish and poultry, snacks, chocolate products, bakery products, bell peppers, cucumbers, fruit… we can provide automated handling solutions for all these products.

Special Solutions
The robot looks, recognises, thinks and then moves the object. Based on this principle, we create solutions to automate the handling of all possible products, uniform and non-uniform alike. Based on the knowledge and experience that we have acquired in Food and Agro and the modular design of our systems, we are in an outstanding position to serve other markets as well. For example, we have realised special solutions for the automotive, consumer goods and medical industries.
